February 2010: GDRE is in the process of moving to a new location. There was a machine shop in the space for 20 years before and there was a HUGE mess to clean up. A new, state of the art, dyno room was purchased and it arrived on six very large and heavy pallets. After several very long days of work, the dyno room is progressing. One of the photos below is of one of the two large 30 inch exhausts fans that will remove 24000 cfm of air to achieve proper air exchange. George says, "I still have a lot of work to do, but it's starting to take shape."

30, 2008: George Dean Racing Engines is proud to announce the
addition of the ASNU fuel injector flow bench and ultra sonic
cleaning system to the many services he already offers.
This gives GDRE the ability to service electronic fuel injectors of all
types. This includes performance flow testing at different RPM from 200
to 20,000, leak testing, resistance testing, filter basket and O Ring
replacement, ultra sonic cleaning and injector matching.
George reports, "After doing before and after tests on the dyno
I have found horsepower gains and better throttle response even with
brand new injectors."
November 2007.
The IMSA Lites professional racing series has named George Dean Racing
Engines as the sole provider of engines for the 2008 season. The
Kawasaki ZX-10R will be sealed.
April 2007.
George Dean has sold his Seattle Cycle Service motorcycle tuning
and repair business to his long time associate, Walter Meyers.
George's will be concentrating exclusively on George Dean Racing
Engines and the building, tuning and support of race engines.
George Dean Racing Engines is leasing space at Seattle Cycle
Service's location.
October 24, 2005 - Phoenix Race Cars, Inc. Announces "Race Ready" Engine Program Partnership with George Dean Racing Engines expands engine program
Phoenix Race Cars, Inc., manufacturer of the Phoenix DSR-1 and CSR-1 Sports Racer, has announced availability of "race ready" engine programs from George Dean Racing Engines.
"This is an exciting step for us to be able to provide these powerplants through our shop," said Matt Conrad, General Manger of Phoenix Race Cars, Inc. "We have utilized these same engines with great success in our racing machines and George Dean has done a fantastic job of developing this package for sports car racing."
Four different packages for CSR and DSR sports car racing will be available and on-hand for quick turn-around. As always, custom designed engines are available as well.
